It’s time for public transit in the Denver metro to be Safe, Frequent, and Reliable.

It’s time for a change.

I’m Matt Larsen, and I am the only Democrat running for RTD Board in District E.

Over the last four years, RTD has gone backwards. Light rail lines - particularly the E and H running through District E - have been riddled with delays, no shows, slow downs, and extended and disruptive maintenance projects.

Drug abuse and drug abusers have been allowed to run rampant on the train lines and train stations.

Scheduled service frequency and service hours have been continually under threat, as RTD seems to believe that less service is better service.

Bus service has been unreliable, also with frequent delays.

RTD leadership can only be held accountable by the voters. Voters in District E have an opportunity to elect new leadership to RTD Board this year. Matt Larsen believes in public transit and believes that with the right leadership Denver’s public transit can be great.

Matt Larsen has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles at successful public companies. He knows what Boards need to do to ensure that CEOs are effective and transparent. He believes the Board must set aggressive goals for RTD management, and make sure they are achieved.

The refuse of drug use is a common site at light rail stations.

Currently 30 minute delays on the E line, “until further notice”.

This is currently proposed! They are saying to never bring the E and H back to 15 minute frequencies. Horrible!

Delays have been in the news regularly
